Here-in lies the problem. Timm Hortons cuts corners. A small coffee at Tim’s barely provides 3 mouthfuls. A medium is half the size of any medium I’ve ever seen. The sizes of the cups are ridiculous! And no one says a word. Why? Cause its cheap. Your dam right its cheap; cheap to cut coners and hide the truth.

And the comercials! Most have the family aspect; a Christmas day, and the father opens up the last gift to find a coffee mug…If my father recieved that as THE LAST GIFT…he wouldnt even fake surprise or happiness. The only thing missing is the Canadian theme. The family (dressed in plad) playing hockey with a moose as the goalie! The other comercials are worse! The one shows how Tim Horton’s is great for students to work at Timmy’s. One of the reasons is the “excellent uniforms.” WHAT?!? Ive seen better uniforms at Humptys.

Lastly, my anger has been at the propaganda placed on the brand. People go for the brand. Every serious coffee drinker I’ve talken to has told me that A) The coffee isn’t strong enough. B) The coffee doesn’t taste as good as other coffee. and C)The coffee cups are smaller.

To recap; The coffee is cheap and stereotypically “Canadian” and there-in lies the reason why people buy. Coffee is better and bigger anywhere else. The propoganda that is stuffed down our throaghts about due dillegence to Canada’s brand is absurd. Hey Canada, gut check. You get what you pay for.
